Our Purpose

Our purpose is to foster community, sportsmanship, and conservation through education, safe shooting practices, and advocacy for responsible gun ownership, good sportsmanship among our members and the public and the conservation of game and land.

What We Stand For

  • Safety First: Every member is expected to uphold strict safety protocols. We believe responsible firearm use begins with education, respect, and accountability.
  • Community & Camaraderie: Our club is built on mentorship, teamwork, and shared stories. Whether you’re a seasoned shooter or just starting out, you’ll find support and encouragement here.
  • Conservation & Stewardship: We actively support efforts to preserve Wisconsin’s natural beauty and wildlife for future generations.
  • Skill Development: From trap leagues to youth programs, we offer opportunities to grow, compete, and learn in a welcoming environment.

A Legacy of Leadership

For over 90 years, ORGC has been a fixture in Osceola’s outdoor community. Our members include hunters, anglers, trap shooters, and conservationists who contribute time, talent, and heart to keep the club thriving. We host events, educational programs, and social gatherings that connect members and their families to the outdoors. Our club is more than a place to shoot- it’s a place to belong.

Our Beginning

Our first meeting was held in the Bank of Osceola on November 16th ,1933. The 1st election for officers was held; Eugene Beyel was elected chairman, Charles W. Anderson as secretary, and Carl S. Peterson as Treasurer. A committee was formed to get new members and a membership fee of $1 was established.

On November 23rd, 1933 they met again to discuss the laws and rules of the club:
1. That we call the club The Osceola Rod and Gun Club.
2. That we use the bylaws of the Frederick Rod and Gun Club.
3. That we hold a regular meeting December 7th, 1933.

Members attending were:
Roy E. Nelson
Stanley L. Hawkinson
L. W. Stewart
Eugene Beyel
Robert Soderberg
Charles W. Anderson

Join the Tradition

At ORGC, every range day is a chance to build friendships, celebrate progress, and learn form one another. We invite you to be part of our legacy.

” In a shooting club, camaraderie means cheering each other on, sharing tips for better accuracy and trading stories over coffee or after a match.”
